I don't see that many uses for that. It is very cool, but doesn't seem like it is needed.

That is really kool, i love how it can simply balance its self out after being kicked, and hold 150 lbs!  The part where the dog jumps is also really sweet.  possibly one day those could be used for blind people....instead of training a real dog for years to open doors, walk people across the street etc. for blind people, a programmed robotic dog could be functional within hours if they were mass produced.

this is a military research project started a few years ago. It has some benefits that wheeled or tracked vehicles dont have and can go places others cant.
