Hey I just got 2 rc cars from a friend and I Have 1 car already an was needing to know What i should Buy for them to work with my transmitter

An RC receiver that matches the frequency and modulation method of your transmitter.

The Controller is an airtronics so do i have to get a receiver the same brand.

No, but YOU must ensure that it is comparable with the Airtronics transmitter. Airtronics does make several different systems that are not interchangeable.

Do you have a local hobby shop so you can take what you have to them. They should be able to tell you what receive would work and test it right there to be sure.
