robot programing and such as! ???

how to get a robot to be able to do stuff its self. such as if i instructed it hoover the floor how can i get it to do that by its self. also how can i get my bot to speek proper english (such as interact and say hello) also how to get it to take more commands and program it to do more. sorry im quite new to programming and such as. thank you.

That is up to you but Python is a good programming language. It is free just google it.
Maybe some one else can make a suggestion.
