Hey, I haven't been on for a long time. I'm trying to get free samples but whenever I go to a company's website, I don't know where to look? Could you guys tell me how you find free samples? Thank You!

each website is a bit different... some have it as part of the product pages... check out this thread for further details: http://www.societyofrobots.com/robotforum/index.php?topic=853.0;topicseen

You can even call them and ask them for samples. I did this a few times, saying I was a hobbyist who is working on a project which has potential to be mass produced and sold.

lol u guys r cheap
maxim ic are good ones (100% free but after a while they realise that u aren't going to buy anything they stop sending you stuff) but to get them shipped it took them 3 months but i live in new zealand so that may have added to the time.
national semiconductor are good but only problem is that i think that their computer checks the domain of your email address and depending on that it will decide weather to charge you the cost for postage. i got a yahoo one so i had to cough up 15 bucks to get the samples shipped to me.
if you guys know any other good companies for free sample then can you guys let me know
