ok so i want to write a program for my palm visor, it runs OS 3.5 and has palm basic installed. pretty much basic... anyway i want to turn it into a data logger/ LCd readout. using the IRDA port. i got the software pretty much figured out for the basic stamp 2p-40 but cant seem to figure out how to access the IrDa port on the palm. i have yahoo'ed, googl'ed, msn'ed, and aol'ed, and there are alot of sites that hint at how to do this. but just short of buying a programming package its not clear at all how to do it...thanks in advance for any help
So goal points are...
access the IrDa port
recive a serial in command,
print that command to the screen
write it in basic..
