Title: mecanum wheel demonstration

I havent seen a robot with this type of wheel in ages . . . and I figure most people havent at all . . .

OOOOO000000ooooo MAGIC! pretty sweet, do they only work on hard surfaces, or would it work on carpet as well?

Mecanum wheels are awsome!  It is surprising that they are not more popular and that it is difficult to find them (and they are very expensive when you can find them!)... Anyway, thought I would contribute this robot featuring macanum wheels:
