does any one know the three components (vertical) at top left in following pic:->

They look like two pin headers.

They look like female version (machine base) berg strips to me.

interrupt lines from uC are connected to header pins(white one) and then there are 3 more header pins (black) at top left . what are these for?
how are push buttons connected?
