Title: TPA81 and AXON 2

Hello,

I'm a happy owner of an Axon 2 for the last week, I have already tried some sensors and everything works good. :)

I have the TPA81 thermal array sensor from Devantech, an amazing little sensor that can even produce a thermal image of an
environment with the apropriate software.

However, it uses I2C and I need 4 pins for that ( 5V, GND, CLOCK and DATA).

Instead, the I2C pins in Axon 2 are only three.

I know it may sound stupid, but how can I actually plug it on Axon 2 ?

In my other microcontrollers ( Brainstem and Wiring ) I have succesfully used it.

The axons 3 pins are gnd, data, and clock, so you will need to hook up the 5v from the TPA81 to a 5v regulated pin on the Axon.

Just wondering, is the TPA81 basically a thermal infrared camera with 8x1 resolution?

Well, you can say that it's an infrared "camera" with the resolution you mentioned, in the sense that you can create a thermal "image" of your room.

One of my thoughts about this, is buying 3-4 of them and have them swap an entire room, send the data to a PC and watch the outcome.

The only caveat is that they are expensive!
