Title: 50 dollar Robot Item Help!

Hey guys, a newbie at the robot game.

I just purchased a lot of things for my first robot.  One problem, Radio Shack is out of Grid-Style PC Board with 371 Holes and the LED from Digikey (this is from the 50 dollar robot Tutorial).  So does anyone have an alternative recommendation for these items.  I really want to crack down on my first robot.

Any red, green, orange or yellow indicator LED will do. You can rip one from an old radio/VHS/Whatever.
For the board, you could get a larger one (if Rat Shack has got that), as they are easy to cut down.
