Title: i am creating a robot and i want some advise

hi how are you
i hope that you are good

so i want some helps with the robot
now i am in the stage of designing so i was thinking about create a robot that work on the light of the sun
so how can i put the wires of the sun energy and in the same time i want to take from it
i mean first to charge the battery and in the same time to take from it (like the car)

this is the first problem in my designing

i will put any problem i have here

Hmm.. you might want to look into the solar engines that BEAM robots tend to use. They usually work off capacitors and not batteries though, but it might be still worthwhile to have a look:
