Title: Charging batteries?
Post by: robotim on May 26, 2010, 07:58:39 PM
Hi everyone,

I am new to building robots and one snag I hit was trying to find a suitable charger for batteries. How do I charge something like this?

http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1177 (http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1177)

What kind of charger do I need?

Thanks!!

A NiMH (the chemistry) charger for the number of cells the pack contains. Always use a charger designed for the chemistry of the battery.

Put "NiMH charger" into google to find them.

With just a tad bit of modification you can use this: http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/BC-25/BATTERY-CHARGER-FOR-4-AA-CELLS//1.html (http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/BC-25/BATTERY-CHARGER-FOR-4-AA-CELLS//1.html)
