Title: Streaming webcam video
Post by: k3nt on June 17, 2010, 11:02:21 AM
Hey Everyone,

So I have a bot running player on ubuntu 9.04. I've been attempting for several hours now to successfully stream webcam video over a local network from the bot computer to another ubuntu machine. I have a logitech orbit working just fine with the video4linux drivers. I have tried streaming using vlc with no success, has anyone else recently been successful with it? I got "webcam" successfully generating jpegs into a dir, but how would I turn that into a video stream?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Kent
