Do you use them in different situations or AxonII is an upgrade?

Axon II has the LED segment display but the main thing is that it has more of the 'high function' pins such as PWM available for your use.

If you've got the WebbotLib download then look in the manual and compare 'sys/Axon.h' with 'sys/Axon2.h' and you can compare and see that the Axon II makes many more of the processors abilities available on the header pins.

additionally . . .

The Axon II has a more stable power supply, more external interrupts, and the ability to use two separate power sources.

If you plan to have a lot of servos or a lot of Sharp IR, I recommend the Axon II.
