Title: Getting the limiting pin in the servo.
Post by: Hellboy on July 10, 2010, 04:14:35 AM
I wanted to modify the servo for 360 rotation.
The gears in the servo are metal servo and there is a small metal pin in the main gear.
Is there anyway of getting it out?

generally the pin is not fixed, it is just there with a tight fit.

I have never seen a metal gear servo with a fixed pin.

if it is fixed the next thing is to grind it out with a file, or even better a tool like a dremel. take any means necessary to remove the mechanical stop without damaging the gear.
