Title: Sketch does not run with external power supply (again)

So I had it working, everything was fine, but now its not =/

I have an Arduino Duemilanove board running on a 12V battery that is connected through VIN and Ground.  The Power led is blinking really fast so that it looks like its just dimming, and the load light is blinking slower but still really fast...  I took out my multimeter and got a steady 12.7V going into the board so the power source is not fluctuating...  Any ideas?

Alright, but i tried multiple sketches for multiple projects and none of them worked...

The first project was getting values from a photoresistor and making a led light up depending on the values.
The Second was just making the led blink
The third was making the led fade from full lit to full off and then repeat.

None of these sketches work now, but they did work earlier today.

And to add, everything works fine when powered via usb
