Post by: rabochid on September 15, 2010, 06:07:47 AM
hello I want to use the LM629 to control DC motor for my robot but I know little about the LM629, and I want to know if the LM629 is optimal for the control of motor current continues or there are more efficient components

Well, for starters... wow, is that chip ever pricey :o

But to really understand the chip look at the datasheet for starters:

Next look at application notes, National Semiconductor has done a nice job of showing ways of using it (well I guess at that price you can expect that ;D)

Also, check to see if others have used this chip with a Google search as well, I find that the easiest method to find out how to use a chip or a part that I'm unfamiliar with.

Good luck  :)
