Title: Want to play prerecorded message

Dear Friends,
    I made a animatronics character robot so i want to play some background recorded voice which is synchronize with moments of that character .so i want to make a circuit which play prerecorded message so for that i am using a ir sensor when someone come near to it .It on power of animatronic character and the circuit so circuit or some device should be in such a way that play recorded message whenever it on automatically.Please help me to make the same .Will mp3 player works?

An MP3 player could work, but you'd have to hack into it in order to do so.
