Title: arduino pwm transistor circuit, will this work?
Post by: WhomBom on September 22, 2010, 02:38:28 AM
Hi guys, I thought i'll check my plans with you before i blow something up  ;) hopefully anyone can tell me if they will work

i want to pwm the led using my arduino, R1 is 200 Ohms, connected to my +5V output pin when i want the transistor to conduct. The +4.1 V can be adjusted to compensate any losses in the transistor (so i can keep the led at 3.3V)

what do you think?

Circuit can be work provided you supply constant current of 350mA to the LED and the transistor having current gain of more then 20.
