Title: Axon Question
Post by: Luminose on October 05, 2010, 10:50:21 AM
I'm going to build the $50 robot in the next couple of weeks and have been reading up on robotics in general. I have a quick question about the Axon board. Is it simply a drop-in replacement for the board that's built from scratch in the $40 robot tutorial? I realize the Axon board has more functionality, but can you use the same software and files on the axon board?

Do you mean the $50 Robot Tutorial (http://www.societyofrobots.com/step_by_step_robot.shtml)? The $40 Robot (http://societyofrobots.com/member_tutorials/node/59) tutorial doesn't use a microcontroller.

The Axon can do anything the $50 Robot board can do, and much much more. All example code is offered.
