Title: $50 Robot Capacitor
Post by: VegaObscura on October 09, 2010, 04:08:28 AM
I noticed the 0.1uF capacitor in the tutorial for the $50 robot and the picture of the capacitor that was listed in the parts list looks a bit different.

The part listed:

And the part in the tutorial:

Are these still the same part for all functional purposes?

It looks like its just an axial (leads are on a single axis) ceramic capacitor and not radial (both leads on same side) like in the tutorial. Axial or radial doesn't make a difference, although it is important that it's a ceramic capacitor.
