Title: I NEED HELP!

Ok, so I bought the serial port to usb adapter because no computer in my house has a male header serial port

I plugged in the Dongle programmer...and Pony Prog wont write the source code!

What do I do?

what do you mean ponyprog wont write the source code. Be more specific. Have you tried ALL of your USB ports(I believe i read this could cause a problem)

PonyProg pops up with a box that says Writing 0% and it stays at 0 %, and then the program goes to "Not Responding"

okay i assume you're using usb.. try switch to a different usb port if you have multiple and try it in every port

also post pics of the bottom of your robot board in case there is a bad connection
