I was born in 1977.

1  a video recorder .... for the first time
First VCR was < 4 y.o.

2  digital watch
Not sure, but my first calculator watch was in 1st grade. (About 6 years old).

3  a tv remote control
Once again, not sure, but was no later than 2nd grade. (About 7 years old)

4  pocket calculator
My first was a Texas Intsruments with the classic glowing red LED display and included a chart for trig functions and calculating biorythyms.  I really liked it back in the day.  While called a "pocket calculator" I'd like to know who's pocket it would fit in.

5 microwave
While I think we had a microwave at home before this, I had a microwave in the lunchroom at school when I was in 4th grade so about 9 yrs old.

6 computer
Kindergarten.  About 4-5 yrs old.  An Apple IIe if I remember correctly.  Atari 800XL is the first one I owned though (in about 1984 or 85) (Learned BASIC on it).

7 mouse
Same as computer, about 4-5 yrs old.

8 colour svga monitor
Hmm not sure with SVGA.  I know we had VGA monitors before this, and computers hooked up to color TVs (Atari 800XL anyone? :)), but first SVGA tha I am certain of would be in 1990, so about 13 yrs old.

9 cd player
First CD player was in the mid-80s, so about 7 or 8 yrs old.

10 mobile phone
Early 90s, about 14 yrs old.

11 the internet
1994, so about 16-17 yrs old.  Logged on to through a local BBS (Bulletin Board System) then later through the local community college's dial up modems.

First BBS in early early 90s so about 14-16 yrs old.

My first digital watch used red LEDs - you had to push a button for the time to light up; it was around 1978 I think - I was in about grade 6 at school :-)

Our first TV remote had 6 buttons - it was ultrasonic (assuming "ordering your sister to turn the dial" doesn't count as "remote control" :-) - 1976 probably.

I got my logitec C7 mouse in about 1982 - and had to write my own driver software for it :-)

My 1st mobile phone was about the size of an iphone, analogue, lasted about 2 hours on a full charge, cost about $2000, and I got it around 1992 - Fujitsu - P7 I think it was called.

Bulletin boards pre-date the internet - it's a bit hard to figure this one out, since the 2 things merged, probably around 1985/6 I'd guess?

I have not changed my home page for 14 years :-)
