i am unable to merge programs for grid follower robot even if have various source codes...it's really confusing to start from which part.... how to associate various functions ,apply logics,select proper pins of microcontroller,motor drivers,etc....

What processor?
What programming language?
What development environment (IDE)?

the processor is atmega16 and language to be coded is in c.....its really troubling to start from where.......can anyone help me out to grant me a full fedged code of grid follower robot that have ability to exchange code with another grid follower robot visa-versa....such that i can able to develope coded of my own...
