Title: Hand held steel plate source
Post by: Asellith on February 10, 2011, 10:59:06 AM
I need a source for smallish hand help plates. They need to be zinc or similar plated steel (no stainless). They will be used to place small magnets on and need to be rigid and safe to hold. I am looking into blank engraving plates but most of those are stainless. I have also considered coating the edges with a rubber or something not sure yet. Ideas would be appreciated.

or your local metal supplier that cuts to size.
Mcmaster also carries C-shaped rubber edging that grips the edge of a plate.
