Title: Forum question: what do the membership levels and pictures mean?
Post by: mstacho on February 28, 2011, 11:37:44 AM
As in, "full member", "junior member" etc.  What do they mean?  Do you get to do more stuff with a better rating?  And what are all the ratings anyway, and when do you get them?

Also, why is it that some people's little robots are yellow instead of blue (I guess Admin and Webbot are red and green, respectively, because they are special members?)

:-P This is just one of those things that bothered me during my lunch break.

Hi Mike

Basicly the little bluebots show how many posts you have.
It is no indication of how useful a member is!
The "Helpful?" thing, is like a peoples vote of how useful you are
I have roughly 400 posts, which gives me "Supreme Robot" and 3 helpful rating which means I've posted at-least three useful posts :P
Not every one clicks helpful either...
Yellow Bots are given to people who win SoR competitions (pined topic in Misc).
Green Bots are given to people who are *amazingly* helpful (as far as I can tell).

Red bots, Admin has Red bots, just because he's Admin...

Remember, someone with 4000 posts is not necessarily the smartest member !
