Title: LED flasher without a microcontroller -Help

Hi,

I wanted to make a circuit which flashes a led 3 times when a button is pressed. I want to keep it very simple so if there is a way to do this without a microcontroller, that would be great. Thanks in advance

Yes, it can be done with a hand full of parts.
Google 555 timer chip and one-shot circuits.
