Title: an Arduino board, as there USB to Serial chips can be used as an ISP programmer?

My used Axon2 from Ebay, usb is dead and gets hot but some one mentioned that you can program it with arduino? please help

There are two ways to program the Axon. The first is with a bootloader, which by default is with the USB. But since that is damaged . . .

The second way is using a hardware programmer:
