Title: Robot arm. Help with parts

Hi i am planing to try to build a small yet fairly strong robot arm. which i can controll from pc.

So what part do i need except servo motors for the power and signal? and to enable the pc to communicate with it?
As you can see, I am very green at this. planing to have this as a long time project.
