Title: Engineering Design & Development Class. (Antweight)
Post by: caz.edd1 on October 06, 2011, 10:38:48 AM
I am in an engineering design and development class at Cazenovia High School in Upstate NY. My class project this year is to build an antweight battlebot and enter it in a local competition. I'm trying to develop a better understanding of battlebots and a better grasp on how to go about building them. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time

Good afternoon.

I think you should try to attend a few of the local competitions. In my experience the people there are generally very friendly and will answer questions about their machines.

The publication "Servo Magazine" has an article or two every month on combat robots. You can also find a few forums that cater specifically to the hobby.

Good luck
