Post by: sinista on October 26, 2011, 01:35:17 PM
Hi All,

Im looking for some designs on how to make a hexapod,
something like

http://www.active-robots.com/robots/bipeds/phoenix-3dof-hexapod-kit-black.html (http://www.active-robots.com/robots/bipeds/phoenix-3dof-hexapod-kit-black.html)

im not so interested worried about the programming side yet, I just want some leg templates with dimentions and sizes.

Cheers Guys.

:)

My impression is you can make the legs look like whatever you want, pretty much.  You need to know what servos you're using though, to make a an actual leg template...

Dremel would work, too, if you know what you're doing.  Or waterjet/laser cutting.

Hi,

A jig saw or hack saw and a set of files will do nicely :)
(A band saw or scroll saw will make it faster if one's available).
