For my project this year i wanted to make a line follower, but i needed to give it a real life application. So i decided to have it drop salt but i have no idea how to do it... I looked at a line marker that drops chalk for a baseball field, but i need a mechanism that can drop salt using a servo motor. Any Ideas???

Perhaps something like...

So, basically the holder stores the salt, and the servo horn has a hole (or holes) in it that pass under a hole in the salt holder, allowing the salt to pour out.
Edit: Oh, I should add, nice work on the robot, by the way :D
