short answer- no

long answer

RepRap is arduino mega based if i'm not mistaken. If you are making a reprap or repstrap "by the book" as it were then you will need it to use similar hardware. If you are ambitious you could modify the software needed to use an axon and i would wager to say that it wouldn't even be difficult if you know what you are doing.
