Title: Breadboard wiring and Sharp IR

Can somebody pls send me some instructions on hoe to use a breadboard and i also bought a Sharp IR sensor that reches from a minimum of 8" to a maximum of 150". Is that right or i am wrong, should the automatic calibration program still work.
