Title: Traxxas Spartan, is it the best?

Hey everyone!  :)

I just wanted to post this question for all RC boaters out there

I know the Spartan has some issues with the cooling and esc, but i havent found anything similar to my liking
Here are the things im looking for:

-electric
-around 36in
-brushless
-at least 25mph on NiMH rtr
-3 or 6s compatible
-nice looking  :)

the issues i have are with the batteries
i have a 7 and an 8 cell
i want to use one or both near the max esc voltage, meaning the esc would need to take 3 or 6s lipos


I dont know when traxxas will make a new model of boat, but im guessing it wont be soon  :(

Im wondering if anyone knows a boat that is similar to the spartan (nothing over $500)

Hi,

Given your subject, I think you'd be better helped in a place like RC-Groups or similar, where the focus is on all things RC. This is a robotics forum in case you didn't realize.
