Title: EagleCAD v6 now released
Post by: Admin on February 08, 2012, 11:31:34 AM
I haven't used it yet as I haven't had a need to design any circuits lately. Has anyone here used it and have an opinion about it?

I was going to try it, but it requires several libraries I don't have, and I don't feel like building them from source right now (got a cold or something). I'm not using the current version of Ubuntu though, and I suspect the libraries would be in the current release, but I don't want to use the dreadful user interface on the new ones. I'm thinking about moving to Mint from Ubuntu...

Wandering, sorry. At any rate I doubt it will be a problem with Windows because nobody expects compilers and stuff there, so they'll package everything.

I've used it, it's almost the same.  :-\ I havent found any problems though. The main thing I disklike is the fact that the files made in v6.1 can't be opened in v5. I've only tried the lite version
