Title: difference between standard ultra sonic sensors & polaroid ultrasonic sensors

what is the difference between standard ultra sonic sensors(small piezoelectric ones that are commonly used) and  polaroid ultrasonic sensors found on high end robot models.Are they more accurate?What about price?
