Title: Sumo robot material
Post by: moretto89 on May 08, 2012, 03:38:21 PM
I am new to this so I need help. Is Acrylic good enough for the structure of the robot or shoud I use HDPE as the site suggests. The robot can't be too expensive and can weight up to 3kg.
I hope you can help me.

You can make your robot out of whatever you want. It just depends on what the robot needs to do. Several of mine have been primarily constructed with cardboard and duct tape XD If it is only going to weigh 3 kg, I am sure Acrylic will be fine.
