Title: speed controllers and Motor Controllers

Hey, guys I was wondering , Are speed controllers and motor controllers the same thing?
 if they are whats the difference?

Dear Vipulan,

  I think that speed controllers are a subset of motor controllers.  Motor controllers can also include devices that just start motors or the closed-loop circuits that monitor the state of the motor for controller feedback.  Practically speaking though, I think that they are essentially the same.  Most products use them interchangeably.
