I am looking for suggestions, I am looking for a masters research project.

Write custom firmware for an xBee module so that it functions as a device on a Dynamixel bus.  The advantage here is that the xBee can be on the same UART as a bunch of Dynamixel servos, and the controlling MCU only needs a single UART.

I don't know what is required for a Masters project, but feel free to check out my post above about developing toys for children with paralysis :-)
