Title: Robot internet controlled separate network

I built a 4 wheel robot with Roboteq controller, I'm looking for a way to control the robot via internet in 2 different network place, eg, control the robot 10km away from it through internet, I was told that I need to configure IP, has anyone done this? can you share some info.?
