i got a normal motor (got from playstation 2 controller for vibration) and i want to make that motor to move in opposite direction... what code should i use... do i use the same as for servos?
-
Im guessing that you are using a microcontroller...
You can't do the same thing with a normal DC motor as with a servo. You need you use something called a H-bridge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H-bridge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H-bridge).
That should be plenty of info.

yea i'm using a microcontroller... can we make a H-Bridge?? or is there any other motor which can be moved in both direction?
a normal RC-Car uses which motor?

This should answer your questions before you get them . . .

Search the forum for motor driver.

could not find any thing related of what i want... :(

try buying a lm298 motor driver IC. This is what I intend to use.

You could do what I did (because I was using only a servo controller)... I devoted a servo to switching polarity... I've got it set with three options: forward off reverse. It's kind of poorly made, but it's something I plan to improve on in the future. I just need to get better materials before I do.
Here are two pics that might give you an idea of how I'm doing this... I'd need to take it off the car for better pics.
