Title: Will a 48v battery work for two 24v wheelchair motors?
Post by: doctorflash on June 23, 2013, 02:26:38 PM
Is there a way to split the current from a 48v battery evenly for two 24v motors? Or would it make more sense to have two different 24v batteries? Thanks.

Hi,

Take a look at my post here

Jwatte has a great answer.

From the information given, I would take your 48v battery pack and hook the four batteries in series and parallel meaning you have two 24v sets (in series) hooked together in parallel.
