Title: Stepper controllers.
Post by: Handmixer.com on October 05, 2006, 02:16:58 AM
I have just been thinking, could I use use a 555 timer(or a series of them) to controll a stepper motors. They may be in conjunction with other chips.

Does anybody have any ideas on this?

You sure can! Try the following link. It contains a great number of 555 circuits and if you scroll down 6 or 7 eighths of the way there are a couple of stepper control circuits using the 555 and a 4013 IC.
