Title: Stepper driver
Post by: drinu on March 31, 2014, 02:35:13 AM
Hi all,

Have anyone ever used the TB1H stepper motor driver? I read on the net that it only provide the motor with 30% performance due to the bad design (selection of internal components). Is that true?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I found this driver which is similar:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M542-CNC-Stepper-Driver-Support-Nema17-Nema23-Nema34-Stepper-Motors-1-0A-4-5A-/261430270821?pt=UK_BOI_Industrial_Automation_Control_ET&hash=item3cde755b65 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M542-CNC-Stepper-Driver-Support-Nema17-Nema23-Nema34-Stepper-Motors-1-0A-4-5A-/261430270821?pt=UK_BOI_Industrial_Automation_Control_ET&hash=item3cde755b65)

Here is the datasheet:

Is this a reliable driver please?

It looks pretty good with complete documentation.
How is the warranty?
How is the customer service?
