Title: Working with ARM microcontrollers in Eagle CAD, ExpressPCB, etc.
Post by: jchahn on October 21, 2007, 05:15:03 PM
I've installed and played around with expressPCB.  I haven't tried eagle cad yet.  I've looked through the component list and none of the Atmel AT91 series chips are listed. (The ARM7 chips).   I'm just wondering if there is an online database of custom components that people have made that I can download and use or if I'm just going to have to create a custom component for any chips not already in the library.  Thanks in advance for the help.  Is there a better tool for ARM chips maybe?

Thanks,
John

I dont know about expressPCB, but Eagle has a bunch of ARM libraries:

And just in case you havn't seen this yet:
