Title: Servo Motors at 180 Degrees
Post by: stt585 on October 29, 2007, 03:34:12 PM
Hi, I am working on a robot that needs needs a sensor suite that looks directly right and left with all possible angles in between.

I am planning on mounting these sensors on a servo motor that can at least rotate 180 degrees.  Can anyone help me out?  Most servos don't list the operating range of movement at all, so if anyone knows of any servos that fit that description, that would be great.

Regards
-Steve

standard servos can all rotate about 90 degrees to each side, so 180 degrees total

digital servos allows you to actually specify a range if you need that feature
