is there a tutorial to learn how to write your own microcontroller program or can someone help me

I think the best way to start is with someone else's program.

Figure out how it works, then start reverse engineering it.

The $50 robot has such a program, and it's well commented so it can be easily reverse engineered.

There isn't a single tutorial as there are many languages that you can write programs in... If you are just starting out, I would look at Parallax Stamps... their "What's a Microcontroller" package will get you started nicely and they have a very active support forum.  If you are looking for more theory, check out http://www.amazon.com/Robot-Programming-Practical-Behavior-Based-Robotics/dp/0071427783
