Post by: jklv on November 15, 2007, 12:09:35 PM
Hi.
I am going to purchase a new laptop, a tablet one. At this time I have my eyes on one with the following characteristics:
***Price:$977.95***
-PROCESSOR AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core TL-64 (2.2 GHz/1MB)
-MEMORY 2.0GB DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024MB)
-HARD DRIVE 160 GB 5400 RPM SATA
-DISPLAY 12.1" WXGA BrightView Widescreen Display (1280 x 800) w/Integrated Touch-screen
-MULTIMEDIA DRIVE Super Multi 8X DVD+/-RW w/Double Layer
-VIDEO GRAPHICS NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 w/ Webcam
-DIGITAL MEDIA 5-in-1 media card reader
-COMMUNICATION 802.11b/g WLAN
-SECURITY Integrated Finger Print
-KEYBOARD Full-Size
-POINTING DEVICE TouchPad with dedicated vertical & horizontal scroll pad
-DIMENSIONS 8.82" (L) x 12.05" (W) x 1.23" (min H)/1.52" (max H)
-WEIGHT3.91 lbs.

Now does anyone know of another tablet laptop that can beat that (Uber peformance for low prize)?

How can I know which processor is better?
I though the Ghz numer (in this PC 2.2Ghz) was what mattered =/

Nope, there are several other factors that tie into the clock speed (measured in ghz) that aren't advertised, so clock speed is only a good measure within the same processor model.  You'll have to look at benchmarks (Tom's Hardware for instance) for performance comparisons between different processor models.
