is 2.4Ghz good for transmiting video and audio

Their are other things you need to look at besides frequency, such as transmit power and the distance.
If your using 802.11   (2.4Ghz) then their are some IP cameras you get such as http://www.dlink.com/products/category.asp?cid=58&sec=1
