Post by: richard mackie on November 27, 2007, 05:04:52 PM
alright well I am getting ready to build the 50 dollar robot and i already have an AVR butterfly so i am going to attempt to use this. Ive read the site and it says you can use any atmega but has anybody done this with the AVR butterfly yet?

The AVR Butterfly is powered by a 3V button cell. Theoretically it has enough pins for you to attach servos and LDRs, however I'm not sure if the servos will work preperly. You should go on the AVR Butterfly forum and check out what other people do to interface regular sensors and servos to it. It has a bootloader so it will be easy to load the code.
